Reservoir Dogs also involves the ideas of masculinity. However, as a more recent film I feel that maybe the audience would resent us for copying the style of the posters.

Once Upon A Time (Digipack ideas)

The themes we wish to emulate , such as masculinity and a niche audience, have made us think about using an old western poster. We think that the intertextual reference would be amusing to the audience, and stick in their mind.

New Town Centres' previous album

The New Town Centres' album; we can use this for ideas, as it is aimed at their target audience. 

Now filming and editing is complete, we are thinking about how to make the ancillary task of digipack and magazine article. We have discussed the themes and conventions of other album covers and magazine articles, and thought about the distribution and institution needed.
